If Folk Music Were A Blog…

…it would look like this. Ghostly Ferns is the writing of Chicago based fashionista and owner of apparel outlet 1918Vintage Meg Lewis. After stumbling on her shop, and then her blog, I’ve been hooked on it. I can’t quite put my finger on whether its the design, the copy or the general feel of the shop and blog but it makes me want to explore and doesn’t feel like I’m being sold anything or goaded into signing up to another great fandango. The blog in particular is just the things she finds and thinks and is good reading, have already made a new discovery in the shape of Owen Pallett from it… so there.

This short little article on 99%, the self proclaimed “think tank” of the creative network Behance, has an interesting insight into designer-client liaisons. In fact the whole 99% site is full of useful tips and comments, something for everyone as they say. Read the article here.
